FROM OUR LIST:
The North Country Scene is dotted from end to end with historic markers. We would like your help pinpointing all of them on a map. We'll provide the mapping tools, you provide the pinpoint.
The list below includes some (but not all) historic markers in Clinton, Essex and Franklin counties. Some we've located. Most we haven't. Each description includes a general location but not a precise one. That's where you come in. If you know exactly where any of these markers are located, click on the historic marker image next to it to go to our mapping tool. (not the "Add Marker to List" button)
If you really want to help us, include a close-up photo of the entire marker before you submit the form.
Fill in the rest of the information that relates to the marker (some fields do not need to be filled in for historic markers) and click submit. We'll look over your contribution to confirm its authenticity and add it to our map.
ADD NEW MARKERS TO OUR LIST
We know there are several other markers not included on our list. If you know where any of these are, click on the "Add marker to list" button. Use the same procedure for pinpointing its location and include the exact text of the marker in the comments section of the form. Before we can add your "new" marker, we will need for you to include a close-up photo.
Have fun and thanks for your help with this North Country Scene project.
