These guys are truly shameless. According to his band mates, Will Scheifley’s music runs the gamete of people’s emotions. It defies tradition and transcends style while maintaining an authentic and original sound. Will writes songs that demand attention and his lyrics have something for everyone, invoking all sorts of emotions with his music, while keeping a light hearted nature.
It all started in 2002 with Will Scheifley and Mike Dashnaw.
“I had just moved to Plattsburgh and I didn’t know anybody,” Scheifley said.
A mutual friend introduced the two strangers. Scheifley worked second shift answering phones at the Worldwide Monkey warehouse at the old air force base in Plattsburgh
Summer seems so far off when April snow falls, icy patches still cover some sidewalks, and the frigid, choppy waters of Lake Champlain keep your swimwear stuffed in the drawer with the long underwear and thermal socks. The light and sprinkling sound of flutes and French Renaissance chamber music leapt from the dance hall at the Clinton County fairgrounds. Inside, Michel Landry and Arduina Alonzo, of Montreal, were leading a dance workshop for a group of a dozen or more enlightened North Country folks.
"Arduina and I travel here every month to give lessons, so these people can learn the French dance steps and attend the Champlain Ball," Landry said, as he strapped on his dancing shoes and began his warm-up exercises.
